Remnants Tim Brennan

The Blue Building Gallery is proud to have hosted Remnants, a solo exhibition of new work by Tim Brennan.
Brennan is one of Canada’s leading photographers. Dedicated to working on traditional black and white film, Brennan has been making images that push the boundaries of his medium for more than 40 years.
Remnants represented a new body of work developed over the last five years. The images in Remnants are texturally and atmospherically rich—at once documenting human impacts on our environment and simultaneously expressing new possibilities for film beyond its traditional role as record keeper.
The show represents a unique opportunity to experience film photography in the full depth of its possibilities and an artist fully embracing—and making contemporary—its techniques, processes and concerns.
